Kyuhyun revealed that he had lived in the dormitory for nearly 18 years. He expressed a sense of loss upon leaving, noting, “I broke a record. I must have been the idol who lived the longest in a dormitory worldwide.” He even joked that this record should be listed in the Guinness Book of Records.

In the early days of his dormitory life, Kyuhyun had no room of his own. He had to sleep next to other members’ beds on a mat or move around with his suitcase. He confessed that these experiences fostered a deep attachment to the dormitory.

Now, four months after leaving the dormitory, Kyuhyun reflects, “I wonder why I left only now. I must be out of my mind. There was no need to live in the dormitory for 17 years.” He expressed satisfaction with his life alone, appreciating the freedom and the joyous times with friends in the dormitory, and the ability to live without interference from others.

Kyuhyun’s story has left a deep impression on many fans, and messages of support for his new beginning continue to pour in.
