- Soy sauce: 12 tablespoons (T)
- Ground black pepper: a pinch
- Sesame oil: 3 tablespoons (T)
Instructions
- Marinate the beef sirloin with 4 tablespoons of sugar, 2 tablespoons of corn syrup, plum extract (or honey), 3 tablespoons of minced garlic, 12 tablespoons of soy sauce, and a pinch of black pepper. Mix well to ensure the beef is fully coated.
- Add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil to the marinade and let the beef sit for 30 minutes.
- In the meantime, prepare the vegetables and mushrooms.
- After marinating, add the vegetables to the beef and mix with an additional 2 tablespoons of sesame oil.
- Cook the mixture on high heat until the beef is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
- For those sensitive to the smell of beef, it’s recommended to add a tablespoon of cooking wine or Mirim.
